Behavior Intervention
What is Behavior Intervention?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a widely accepted and proven therapeutic approach used to treat individuals with autism. It is considered the gold standard for autism treatment and has been endorsed by multiple professional organizations and research bodies.
ABA focuses on understanding and modifying behavior by identifying the underlying causes and consequences of specific behaviors. It utilizes behavioral principles to teach new skills and decrease challenging behaviors. ABA can address a wide range of skill deficits and behavioral challenges in individuals with autism, including language and communication, social skills, daily living skills, self-help skills, academic skills, and reducing self-stimulatory or challenging behaviors. A few of the staff at Hope Kids are training to be Applied Behavior Analysis Technicians from Malaysia
