Play Therapy

What is Play Therapy?

Play therapy can be a valuable intervention for children with special needs, including those with autism. Play therapy can be a helpful approach for children with autism, as it allows them to express themselves, develop social skills, and explore their experiences in a safe and supportive environment. Play Therapy can help children improve their Communication and social skills, Emotional regulation, Symbolic play and imagination, Sensory integration, and Behavior management. At Hope kids, we train our staff on how to improve children's social skills through play. Our Program Director Ms. Ranjani Poobalan has received Level 1 Play Therapy certification and helps train and Plan sessions for children at Hope Kids.
